We released a new version of online 3D-models viewer editor.alternativaplatform.com. It supports 3DS format, as well as the added ability to export the scene in the A3D and view the model animation.

The Online viewer solves demonstration and applicative tasks. On the one hand, it generates an embed-code to embed uploaded scene in the blogs and sites (see example) and exports scene into SWF. On the other hand, the 3D-model viewer exports model into A3D format for further use with the Alternativa3D engine.

Editor.alternativaplatform.com features

Loading models in the formats DAE, 3DS, A3D.The number of supported formats will be increased.

Material supporting texture maps Diffuse, Specular and Glossy. Also NormalMapping is supported.

View animation of models, including skeletal animation.

Generation of embed-code for publishing scene in blogs and websites.

Export in SWF and model publication on the AlternativaPlatform hosting.

Export in A3D and the generation of the source code to create a simple demonstration of the model.

Handling of possible errors when uploading the model.
